Position Summary

The Application Integration Lead Developer will be responsible for design, development and implementation of integrations that are robust, reliable and scalable to support McCain’s digital journey. This role will work with architects and other developers to translate functional requirements into technical solutions using Informatica IPaaS. The role will be a key contributor who will review, revise technical specifications to align with business requirements and integration strategy. The role will also conduct improvement and enhancement by refactoring legacy integrations into more dynamic solutions that scales and meet the business needs.

Key Accountabilities

• Design, develop synchronous and asynchronous integrations based on EAI architecture design patterns and best practices between applications and data sources
• Develop and expand integration capabilities using API’s, event-based messaging, publisher-subscriber and webservices
• Apply development skills to building integration in a hybrid, on- premise and cloud model.
• Provide a holistic approach to integration and leverage frameworks for reusable service and wide adoption across the enterprise
• Refactor existing legacy integrations that are tightly coupled using industry standards and tools.
• Provide oversight on integration code from contingent developers, ensuring standardization, supportability and high quality
• Provide guidance on monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolution of data quality issues in collaboration with the different stakeholders
• Work closely and collaborate with team members to ensure proper integration testing is completed on functional and non-functional areas, such as performance, scalability and automation.
• Participate in proof of concept, analysis and build prototypes, ensure proposed solution can meet business requirements
• Participate and support various testing cycles (Unit Testing, System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing)

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science (or related field of study) or equivalent work experience
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in architecture design and development of enterprise integration
• Deep understanding of integration design patterns, synchronous/asynchronous, real-time, batch and messaging
• Hands-on experience with Informatica Cloud Application/Data Integration, API, Integration Hub and Azure data factory
• Hands on experience developing stream, event processing using different messaging technologies like Apache Kafka, Confluent to enable real time integration between disparate systems is highly desirable
• Highly proficient and experience with Middleware integration, REST/SOAP-based web services and service bus and OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect
• Experience working with relational databases and SQL supporting integration techniques.
• Demonstrated critical thinking and the ability to define a problem, frame it and collaborate with others to formulate a solution
