Senior Alarm Service Technician/Installer

Due to our continued growth and success, we have a career opportunity for an EXPERIENCED, HIGH SKILLED and MOTIVATED individual for the position of a Senior Alarm Service Technician/Installer in the field of Security, Home Automation, Home Audio & Theatre, IP Cameras and Access Control Systems.

Job Description

1. Plan and execute the installation of Security systems and components (Residential, commercial) DSC Power Series, DSC NEO, Honeywell Pro Series and all related components

2. Home audio and theatre installation & servicing

3. Complete installations with IP Cameras, NVRs, LAN configuration as well as Analog Cameras Systems (Set up networks, IP addresses, port forwarding etc.)

4. Access control systems installation and service of hardware and software components (CDVI, Kantech)

5. Proficient in servicing all the above in a professional and efficient way

Requirements

· Lead fellow workers and assign tasks

· Strong attention to detail

· Keep accurate documents and notes related to each project during installation

· Communicate system instructions and service related items to customer

Qualifications

Electronics Engineering Technician Certificate or Related Technical School Diploma and at least 5 years combined experience in a similar position as the one described above

Valid Ontario non-probationary Class G driver’s license with a clean record

Fall Arrest, Elevated Platforms and WHMIS certifications

National Criminal Record Report

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $30.00-$40.00 per hour

Experience:

• alarm technician: 4 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Class G Drivers Licence (required)
