  • Optimizing the value of the work that the team performs.
  • Ensuring the product backlog is visible, transparent, organized, and clear to all, and shows what the team will work on next.
  • Ensuring the development team understands items in the product backlog to the level needed.
  • Sharing information and recommendations to ensure product decisions are based upon feedback and research/data.
  • Working with the Product Owner and Stakeholders to extract and form a cohesive vision for the product
  • Ensuring the business needs are being met by participating in design reviews, feedback loops and conducting the necessary quality assurance testing of the product in collaboration with the team and business.
  • Helping to develop a release plan and/or roadmap that shows how the product will evolve to meet the goals and objectives of the organization
  • Identifying areas of opportunity for change and process efficiency, through feedback loops, brainstorming, ideation, and design sprint sessions
  • Working with the UX/UI Designer, as well as independently, on specific low-fi prototypes, UI design requirements, user testing and data correlation.
  • In collaboration with the UX/UI Designer, facilitate activities such as user research/user interviews and workshops, then take those findings and translate into journey maps, usable statistics/metrics, and actionable data.
