The job profile resides in the Business Services & Transformation branch in the Health Sector Information, Analysis and Reporting Division that is responsible for leading the business consulting practice for all sector-wide data and analytics projects for ministry program areas and external stakeholders. This position reports to a Band 3 Director.

This position will manage and support medium-term technology and transformation projects or several smaller scope projects with significant internal impact to the business and is accountable for defining and controlling all project activities to ensure delivery within scope, schedule, budget and specified quality.

Job Requirements

In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below:
  • Degree in business administration, public administration, social sciences or a related field and a minimum of 1year *recent related experience; OR
  • Diploma in social/health science, public or business administration or program related or equivalent field, and minimum 2years *recent related experience; OR
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Recent related experience must include the following:
  • Experience developing and using project documentation and reports (e.g. business cases, project charters, project plans, Gantt Charts)
  • Experience managing stakeholder relationships, transformation (with information technology components) projects.
Preference May Be Given To Applicants With The Following
  • Experience working in a technical, analytical or health sector environment.
  • Experience with business applications including implementation, planning, and testing; and development of analytical reports.
  • A certificate or designation in Project Management (e.g. CAPM) or change management (PROSCI) , or those with 2 or more years of combined experience in project and change management.
