Bio-Rad Canada is currently looking for an Administrative Associate to join our Instrument Service Group in Mississauga, Ontario. A successful Admin Associate will support our daily office procedures, act as a point of contact to both our internal and external customers for instrument service requests and provide backup to other service admins in the team.

• Monitor and manage the Instrument Service Group Case Queue, communicate with customers including issuing quotes and obtaining purchase orders and/or payment information, co-ordinate with Field and Service Centre reps including dispatching work orders according to their schedule etc.
• Manage tool calibrations for Field Service Engineers including obtaining quotes from vendors, requesting purchase orders and shipping tools out to vendors and engineers;
• Support Field Service Engineers on urgent spare parts-related inquiries like availability, ETAs for parts orders, returns, transfers etc;
• Monitoring month-end case reports for Out of box failures, returns and replacements;
• Other administrative assignments from time to time;
• You have the ability and flexibility to work between 8 am and 6 pm, Monday to Friday.
• College diploma or university degree.
• 3-5 years of experience in Customer Service or Service Administration (experience in the Health Sector preferred).
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems including Salesforce is an asset.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• The capacity to function well individually and in a team environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills demonstrating tact, resilience and accommodation.
• Efficient problem solver, detail-oriented and well organized.
• Customer focused and courteous.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks with prioritization, and manage stressful situations in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
