Responsibilities:

Accounting

  • Prepare payroll
  • Invoice clients
  • Prepare financial statements and reports
  • Perform clerical duties, such as maintaining filing and record systems
  • Producing reports as required to assist analysis
  • Liaison with Operations Manager to ensure accurate and timely completion of invoice
  • Liaise with external accounting firm to ensure accurate bookkeeping
  • Manage Accounts Receivable
  • Manage Accounts Payable
  • Assist with monthly tax account reconciliations
  • Prepare bank reconciliations
  • Data entry
  • Monitor customer satisfaction
  • Other duties as assigned

Customer Service

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client queries and requests.
  • Deliver high-quality customer service by understanding and addressing client needs.
  • Communicate with clients through various channels like phone, email, and in-person.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and feedback.
  • Analyze client data to improve service and prepare reports for management
  • Liaise with other departments to meet client needs and resolve service issues.
  • Coordinate with sales and marketing teams for client opportunity identification.
  • Adhere to company policies and industry regulations in all client interactions.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in client management
  • Engage in professional development related to client relations.
  • Share knowledge and best practices with team members to enhance client service.

Qualifications:

  • College Diploma with a focus in Accounting preferred
  • Excellent Customer Service skills
  • 2 years of accounting experience preferred but not required
  • Exceptional computer skills, experience with MS Office
  • Detail oriented with the ability to multitask
  • Ability to excel in a deadline-oriented environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work on a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with Quickbooks Online an asset
