SD42 is currently seeking an Accounting Manager to join our team, effective as soon as possible. Reporting to the Assistant Secretary Treasurer, the Accounting Manager is responsible for managing accounting operations, internal controls, and financial reporting, maintaining accounting system, planning and leading the annual audits, and developing and implementing associated procedures. he successful candidate possesses solid experience in accounting management, financial analysis and reporting; exceptional communication skills; high proficiency in a variety of software packages with the ability to quickly adapt to new technology; superior problem solving, time management, organizational and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of cross-functional teams in a fast paced and challenging environment where initiative and multi-tasking are essential.

The applicant will possess:

• Canadian Chartered Professional Accounting designation in good standing.

• Five years accounting and staff supervision experience post certification.

• Must possess exemplary communication, interpersonal, time management, organizational,

problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Expert level Excel skills and advanced Word and PowerPoint skills.

• Knowledge of atrieveSRB is an asset.
