As the Account Coordinator, you are responsible for helping both the Account Director and Project Manager (AD& PM) in the day-to-day administrative management of client accounts. This shadowing and training develop the skills necessary to advance to either the position of account or project manager.

Responsibilities include:

  • Administrating and communicating the status of projects to the Client Services team
  • Prepare account and project service-related documents such as meeting agendas, meeting reports, proposals and other client communications and correspondence as requested from the AD
  • Participate in and document discussions during client meetings and conference calls
  • Help manage and create tasks for various campaigns as directed by the PM

Accountabilities/Deliverables

  • With the direction of the AD open jobs in Workmajig.
  • When the AD is not available serve as the client contact making sure to engage with a high sense of urgency and customer service.
  • Assist the PM with day-to-day development of advertising activities with approved plans. Ensures that progressive stages are approved with adequate time to meet schedules and budgets.
  • Assist in coordination of campaign and project activities.
  • Acquire knowledge of client’s business so that marketing and advertising problems and opportunities may be anticipated.
  • Work with the AD and other Account Managers to build and nurture relationships with clients.
  • Provide assistance to AD on day-to-day client activities, including responding to client phone calls, emails, production and creative deadlines, media placements, etc., to ensure continued progress of client workflow in the absence of the assigned account manager.
  • Stay aware of client activities to provide backup when account managers are unavailable.
  • Gather and assemble background information and analyze as needed by account manager in development of briefs, etc.
  • Handle paperwork and maintain digital and hard copy files if needed on all client activities, their competitors and their industries; maintain client correspondence file, approvals, copy, forms/documents, supplies for daily processing and tracking of account service work, etc.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Must have Bachelor’s degree or post secondary schooling in a related discipline with an impressive transcript/grades or 1-3yrs experience in Agriculture or Client Services.
  • Experience utilizing a Project Management tool is considered an asset.
  • Experience in the agriculture industry considered a strong asset.
  • Must understand the project cycle of running an advertising campaign.
  • The ability to manage a multi-disciplined, collaborative team and communicate complex and interconnected workflows.
  • Detail oriented, extremely organized, and possesses excellent communication, analytical and presentation skills.
  • Excellent networking and liaison skills with demonstrated client management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage workload and assigned tasks.
