Warehouse Assistant

We are looking for an accountable and driven Warehouse Assistant. The ideal candidate is a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple priorities and ensure our operations runs smoothly all whilst maintaining inventory is accurately picked, tracked, and reported. The candidate will meticulously coordinate warehouse operations to encourage the safe and efficient allocation and delivery of merchandise to our intercompany stakeholders.

To ensure success as a warehouse assistant, you should exercise your refined warehouse and logistical skills to promote task-related efficiency across the company. Ultimately, an excellent warehouse assistant should exhibit a capable, service-oriented approach in every scenario.

The role will be reporting into our Inventory & Warehouse Supervisor and will be based in Delta, BC. This is an opportunity to continue your career in a high growth and fast paced company.

We are looking for an outstanding Warehouse Assistant who wants to leave a tangible legacy:

Responsibilities:

• 
  Pick and palletize materials for shipping.

• Unload and receive incoming shipments.

• Physically move products that are could be going out for shipment or coming in for storage.

• Count, sort, weigh, and unpack materials.

• Perform daily cycle counts.

• Generate pick reports – physically pick and allocate consumables/biomass for production and be comfortable with communicating issues.

• Basic computer skills

• Ability to obtain certification to operate machinery such as: Forklifts, telehandler, and electric pallet jacks.

Requirements:

• 
  Minimum of 1 year experience within a supply chain, warehouse, or operations setting

• Previous cannabis industry, greenhouse agricultural operations, manufacturing or pharmaceuticals experience is a strong advantage.

• Previous experience with Elevated Signals and/or ERP software is not mandatory but a strong advantage.

• Knowledge in MS Office, expertise in Excel and Database applications. This is a mandatory requirement, please do not apply if you are not proficient in Microsoft Excel.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

• Experience in participating in inventory counts.

• Strong work ethic, resilience, professionalism, reliability, accountability.

• Experience working within MS Excel and advanced database applications to report inventory levels.

• Be able to lift 40lbs.

• Work in hot, cold, and noisy environment(s).
