Are you a veterinarian that is experienced in or willing to learn feedlot consulting? Do you enjoy practicing individual animal medicine, consultative work with feedlots, teaching/training, regulatory work and applied clinical research?

Our client is a 12-vet practice working for livestock operations of all sizes in Ontario and Southern Alberta, and with a supportive team of over 50 staff consisting of office administrators, processing crews and technicians. They are a partner in the largest livestock veterinary group in Canada- a like-minded group of vets practicing in swine, beef, and poultry animal health care. Together they form the largest practicing livestock vet clinic in Canada, affording significant strategic business advantages and advantages to their customers, and they are expanding rapidly.

They are accepting applications for Associate Veterinarianpositions for their recently acquired feedlot practice in the Lethbridge, AB area. While the primary interest is for vets to serve their numerous feedlot clients, they also welcome applicants with interest or expertise in swine medicine, epidemiology or applied clinical research as they continue to expand their services.

They have been in the feedlot business for a long time and enjoy the majority market share in the segment. They understand the importance of ‘boots on the ground’ and personal interaction in the feed yards. They strive to keep their clients informed and current while focusing on cattle health. It is fundamentally important to provide excellence in customer service to their clients across all avenues of veterinary medicine and consultation. They do not limit themselves to the traditional role of veterinarians- they go above and beyond to provide services of value and to establish and foster advanced relationships with their clients.
