Position: User Experience (UX) Specialist
Location : Vaudreuil-Dorion, Quebec (flexibility / hybrid policy)
Status: Permanent, full-time (1)

We are currently looking for a User Experience (UX) Specialist to join our awesome Digital team! In this role, you will report to the User Experience Manager and will be responsible for defining and delivering a consistent, intuitive, high-quality experience to our users across all points of interaction, including multiple digital channels.

The person in this position must be user-centric, analytical, and possess strong oral and written communication skills. In addition, the UX Specialist must be able to work in a team environment to share information and collaborate on solutions.

To be successful in this role, you must be an active contributor in a fast-paced, agile environment. This role will give you the opportunity to participate in the delivery of product specific information while providing business value through the delivery of effective solutions to the organization.

This position will require input from a variety of stakeholders in order to fulfill responsibilities and achieve business goals You will assume a key role for business solutions, increasing awareness of new functionality, educating, documenting best practices and operational procedures, ensuring alignment with the overall digital transformation vision and strategy.

Responsibilities :
  • Work closely with users and technical teams to ensure that business requirements and processes are clear and well defined and that new product functionality meets business requirements
  • Work closely with key cross-functional stakeholders to improve the user experience, ensuring that user priorities are addressed. Anticipate needs and identify potential projects
  • Drive continuous improvement and champion positive change to improve service levels and increase user satisfaction through internal communication
  • Define and create user training materials and conduct training sessions for optimal user experience
  • Provide first level support to users and support training efforts when new tools and/or processes are established/evolved
  • Apply design thinking principles to develop creative solutions to business problems
  • Continually evaluate user interaction points and recommend design improvements
  • Collaborate with program managers, product owners and application developers to design user interfaces for proprietary web and mobile applications
  • Create and maintain artifacts such as user stories, wireframes, mockups, process maps, documentation, and prototypes to effectively convey product workflow architecture and user experience
  • Conduct usability testing across all digital channels to validate final designs
  • Support Quadra’s vision of becoming more relevant and effective for all users
  • Stay current and up-to-date on emerging UX technologies, tools, trends, techniques, and educational resources at Quadra to drive the advancement of innovative software solutions
Qualifications :
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business administration, marketing, communications or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in product management, UX design/research, UI design, graphic design, information architecture or similar role
  • Interest in training design and development and user education
  • Demonstrate empathy for users by being able to understand stakeholder issues and find the best solutions
  • Excellent collaboration and coordination skills as well as good judgment in setting priorities and making decisions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Bilingualism (French/English) would be considered an asset)
  • Proven ability to find creative and innovative solutions to problems, with a positive attitude and results-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work effectively with leaders and colleagues in a multicultural and diverse environment
  • Understanding of Salesforce and JDE product suites is a strong asset
  • Experience maintaining comprehensive artifacts, such as application style guides, and ensuring consistency and adherence to defined design standards is also a strong plus
Working Conditions:
  • Some flexibility and availability may be required to meet project deadlines
  • Physically able to attend training sessions, presentations and meetings, including travel
  • Some travel may be required to meet with clients, stakeholders or off-site staff/management
