Oerlikon Metco Canada is seeking energetic and enthusiastic individual to join our Analytical team as a Laboratory Technologist. The department utilizes analytical techniques such as classical chemistry; ICP; AA; UV-VIS; electroplating; image analyzer; microscopy; SEM; particle size analyzers (laser and image); combustion analyzers; mechanical testers; hardness analyzers; thermal spray process; flow injection system and many more. In addition, we operate an intranet-based laboratory information system. If you have experience in any of these areas and meet the qualifications below, we are interested in hearing from you.

Qualifications

• Chemical or Materials Science Diploma or equivalent from a recognized post-secondary institution;
• 3-5 years’ experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Excellent documentation and organizational skills.
  
  

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual who will with a high attention to detail. This position may require occasional weekend coverage and/or overtime.
