Technical Researcher

Status: Full-Time, Permanent Position | Location: Vaudreuil-Dorion, QC
Report To: Technical Services Director | Service: Technical Services

As part of the Technical Services team, your primary responsibility will be the acquisition and management of all fitment data required for correct wheel, tire and related product fitment. This includes researching upcoming new vehicle launches, obtaining missing data for current and older vehicles, sourcing new and used vehicles for physical measurements, performing those measurements and the loading/updating all acquired data into a database.

You will also be called upon to assist the Sales, Marketing and other departments in a technical support role for all inquiries related to vehicle information, specifications and troubleshooting issues with product applications on vehicles.

• Willing to travel anywhere in North America when required, often on short notice

Academic Aspects and Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of three years of experience in a related field
• Strong language, grammar, editing, proofreading, and formatting skills.
• Bilingual
• Strong Excel skills
• Possess moderate mechanical skills (ability to safely lift vehicles, use hand/pneumatic tools and perform measurements)
• Knowledge of the automotive industry
• Valid driver’s licence
• Valid passport
