What you will be doing:

• Receiving, storing and issuing stock, preparing reorders as necessary
• Maintaining established par levels on both food and non-food items, checking quality and quantity as per company standards
• Maintaining cleanliness, organization and safe environment of store rooms, fridges and surrounding areas
• Responsible for month end inventory taking, calculations and cost adjustments
• Work with the Receiver and/or Head Store person in their absence
• Assist in maintaining other storerooms
• Adequately assess the needs of departments with regards to par stock levels
• May provide assistance to the Accounting department as required
• Other duties as required

Your experience and skills include:

• Strong organizational skills
• Experience in Accounting or Food & Beverage an asset
• Excellent attention to detail with strong communication skills
• Good working knowledge of MS applications especially Excel, Word and Outlook
• Must be available to work a variety of shifts, including morning, evenings, overnights, weekends, overtime shifts and split shifts
• Must be able to perform continuous heavy lifting
• Previously demonstrated ability to work safely and be a team player
• Ideal candidate would have some previous experience as a Store person in a hotel, restaurant or F&B operation
• Ability to meet deadlines in a demanding, exacting environment

Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
