As Sr Specialist Capture Management at L3 MAS you will:

Reporting to the Manager of Industrial Participation and Business Development, your main responsibility will be to provide support to the Business Development and Proposal teams in the following key areas.
  • Proposal Process:
    • Ensure that all opportunities and proposal activities follow the L3 HARRIS (MAS) New Business Proposal Process;
    • Prepare a schedule that tracks all opportunities and proposals; identifies all the key milestones (Color Team reviews, Gate reviews); and key players (Capture Lead, Proposal Manager, etc.);
    • Receive, review and catalogue all Color Team results, Gate packages and Lessons Learned associated with opportunities and proposals;
    • Update the Proposal Process, as required, based on feedback received from Lessons Learned feedback or changes to the Corporate/Segment Gate Process;
    • Support the Capture Leads and Proposal Managers by providing them feedback on their B&P Budgets.
  • CRM:
    • Be the primary point of contact for L3 HARRIS (MAS) regarding the CRM tool;
    • Provide CRM training to the BD team and other users;
    • Prepare and run reports from the CRM as required.
  • Market Intelligence:
    • Conduct Price-to-Win evaluations using the L3H MAS AS PTW tool;
    • Support Capture Leads by preparing information required to perform a competition analysis;
    • Review the Government of Canada ‘Buy&Sell’ website and identify new opportunities that fall within L3 HARRIS (MAS)’ business areas.
Qualifications

As our ideal candidate:
  • You have a University Degree (Business management, Finance or Engineering); or 10-15 years’ experience in Defense related Business Development activities;
  • You demonstrate skills in project and personnel management;
  • You are a very good communicator in both French & English (written and oral);
  • You have the ability to manage priorities and overcome setbacks;
  • You are a self-starter and highly motivated and have common business acumen;
  • You are proficient with Microsoft Office tools and with SAP modules – PS, SD, FI, MM.
Operational Requirements
  • Must be eligible for registration to the Controlled Goods Program;
  • Must be eligible to obtaining and maintaining the government of Canada’s “Reliability” status and Level 2 (Secret) security clearance;
  • Location not accessible via public transportation, car required (for the location of Mirabel). Remote work from home during COVID.
