Currently we are looking for highly motivated and energetic individual to join our team as a Sr. Project Engineer in Guelph, ON.

Preferred: PMP, PEng

Responsibilities:

• Identifies, recommends, and implements ground-breaking process opportunities within and across sites. Leads or participates in such projects.
• Leads and participates in highly sophisticated engineering projects, either technically or with an extensive multi-functional team. This includes developing and executing to the plan and schedule and meeting the goals and objectives of the project. Tracks costs, prepares status reports, conducts meetings, and documents and communicates progress to management.
• Leads new equipment acquisition efforts including user requirement specifications, machine selection, installation, validation, employee training, and other related equipment responsibilities as the need arises.
• Develops process validation strategy for sophisticated processes and writes and executes engineering studies and process validation protocols and summary reports (Installation Qualification, Operation Qualification, Performance Qualification, Computer Software Validation and Test Method Validation).
• Identifies, leads and implements entrepreneurial process improvements for existing manufacturing processes utilizing appropriate engineering principles and standard strategies such as, Lean and Six Sigma principles.
• Participates in and leads multi-functional teams which may include, but are not limited to Manufacturing Engineering, Production, Quality Assurance, Finance, Product Development, personnel from other sites and external resources.
• Develop / maintain full-scale project plans and associated communication documents.
• Supervise progress of all major tasks/ breakthroughs through to completion with all project team members and other assigned owners to maintain accurate visibility of project status.

Qualifications:

• Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related technical degree; Advanced degree preferred
• 6 years of experience in a manufacturing and/or engineering environment Project Management Certification OR Project management experience equivalent to 3 years.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with good attention to detail.
• Excellent influencing skills.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal, visual, and written).
• Drive, energy, and passion for delivering to commitments. Positive relationship development, conflict resolution, and team building skills.
