Missions and Responsibilities


The primary purpose of this role is to develop and further grow the Multi Location clientele base in the Eastern Region while offering a high level of service and becoming the single point of contact for companies with head offices situated within the region. This person will also be charged with increasing the current customer portfolio by leveraging all the available products under the Metal Fabrication division.

This person will be the primary point of contact for the regional team and be a part of their management team in order to create a strong liaison between market knowledge and economic/ data base knowledge in order to identify leads and opportunities for sales campaigns and deploy the sales package/storyline to educate the AE in having the right conversation with the targeted customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Multi Location Accounts Duties: 75%

  • Work in conjunction with Multi-Location HO National Teams
  • Implement Marketing and Sales Strategy within the Eastern region.
  • Ensure sales targets are met or exceeded set forth in the annual targets
  • Increase Sales and portfolio of current clientele
  • Coordinate new accounts deployment and consistency across the region
  • Lead and/or Participate in Negotiations/RFQ with prospect customers
  • Develop and Maintain strong relationships with key players within region & Airgas counterparts
  • Business review of his/hers SPOC accounts and agreement renewal
  • Take charge of all price increases within Eastern Region customer portfolios.
  • Maintain strong GP$ within portfolios


Market Segment Campaigns 25%

  • Be the expert on any new Market Segment launches
  • Launch and Animate all Market Segment Campaigns
  • Ensure follow up and feedback is provided to the regional on a monthly basis.
  • Ensure all progress is reported into Salesforce
  • Assist in Market Segment Vetting committees

Competencies and Profile
  • Diploma : Bachelor’s degree
  • Training : Quality System (ISO)
  • Knowledge : Computerized systems, Google applications, SalesForce or other CRM tools, services or applications, familiarity with legal contracts and terminology would be an asset.
  • Experience : 3-5 years of of direct industrial sales experience with detailed knowledge of selling industrial gasses, and with a strong focus on territorial expansion and client satisfaction
  • Strong analytical, verbal and written communications skills are a must.
  • Expert communicator and excellent listening skills.
  • Be knowledgeable in SalesForce, Concur and/or Oracle systems would be a strong asset

Additional information

  • This position requires up to 25% travel to customer and non-customer sites.
