Position: Software Developer Co-op

Duration: 4 Months

Date: Jan 3rd to April 29th, 2022

Education Recommendations:

Currently a candidate for Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science of Engineering (Computer, Software) or related field with an accredited school in Canada.

What is Nokia looking for from me:

• Strong understanding of object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms
• Solid software development experience in Java or other OO languages
• Experience with testing/using REST APIs, git, gerrit, Jira, Confluence
• Exposure to the ELK stack
• Experience using Linux and Windows; exposure to network security

What you’ll be doing (3-5 bullet points):

• Work with a small group of highly talented developers on a highly successful, server-based malware intrusion system
• Collaborate on state-of-the-art cloud native software with the world’s biggest communication service providers
• Develop software in a close-knit team aiming to provide efficient network security solutions
• Writing code for a real product!
