Senior Dispatcher/ Logistician

• Ensure customer service that aligns with the standards of the company
• Ensure continuous improvement within the unit
• Ensure compliance with laws and regulations
• Engage and manage staff
• Efficiently manage operating costs
• Supervise dispatching activities
• Manage dispatching of shipments and follow up with different internal partners
• Respond to different requests from external clients and truck drivers
• Provide support to the dispatching team and truck drivers
• Participate in meetings for continuous improvement
• Ability to make decisions and communicate them to the individuals concerned in a timely manner
• Ability to easily build your internal and external networks to achieve organizational goals
• Aptitude to delegate work and ability to hold your team members accountable so that they can reach their full potential
• In-depth knowledge of transport, dispatching and industry laws and regulations

Other Requirements:

At least 2- 3 years Experience with Fleet Manager Software- Transplus

1 Year Experience with Samsara Fleet GPS

Thorough Knowledge of US and Canadian Hours of Service regulations

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $59,000.00-$66,000.00 per year
