Join our team as a Senior Dispatcher and play a crucial role in ensuring efficient operations and customer satisfaction. Please note that this is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Duties:

• Monitor and update shipment statuses for Dispatch Team
• Efficiently coordinate and plan trips with Dispatch Team using internal applications
• Provide exceptional customer service and address any concerns or complaints
• Respond to customer inquiries and keep customers updated
• Book loads for our customer and dispatch appropriately to available drivers
• Multi-task to speak on the phone, update information and liaise with Dispatch Team simultaneously
• Keep information up to date on the system as it changes
• Notify and communicate with our customers regarding the status of their load, ETAs and/or any delays on a regular basis
• Dispatch drivers on planned trips in the quickest and most cost-effective manner
• Ensure Drivers are provided with all information that is required
• Be able to make changes on the fly as needed to cover all trucks and loads
• Monitor and track all pickup and deliveries
• Engage with drivers constantly and follow up on planned routes, pickups and deliveries
• Be able to troubleshoot and multitask to resolve any issues that may occur
• Must be a team player and able to work in a very fast-paced environment
• Maintain accurate records of all communication and activities
• Continuously evaluate and improve logistics processes to increase efficiency and productivity
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations

Required Experience/Skills:

• Minimum 4 years Trucking Dispatch experience is a must
• Familiarity with phone systems, email and dispatching software
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Proficient in using computer systems and software applications
• Flexibility to work long hours, as needed
• Ability to handle stressful situations and make quick decisions
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and laws

Salary:

• Based on candidates qualifications

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $39,887.41-$80,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
