Description:

Agilus is recruiting for a Senior Municipal Engineerin the multi-discipline engineering service firm in Lloydminster, Alberta.
Reporting to the Manager, the Senior Civil/Municipal Engineer will coordinate and manage civil design and construction activities on various projects. The Engineer will provide leadership and mentorship to support projects from inception to completion.

A typical day:
  • Plan, schedule, organize, direct, control and evaluate projects from start to finish
  • Maintain timelines and budgets to meet overall project requirements
  • Prepare and manage changes on engineering deliverables
  • Prepare engineering services proposals
  • Ensure designs conform to applicable codes, standards, regulations, specifications, and procedures with client requirements and cost estimates
  • Complete field activities including general reviews, completion reports and final documentation during construction
  • Liaise with client representatives, assign work to team members and coordinate between disciplines and sub-consultant
  • Prepare design specifications, Tender Documents, and Contract Documents

Successful candidates will have:
  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering degree with 7+ years’ of civil consulting experience and registered with APEGA or APEGS
  • Knowledge of industry standards and codes
  • Experience in full-project lifecycle
  • Effective communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driver’s abstract
  • Self-motivated and organized with Strong time management skills
