Senior Analyst, Digital Infrastructure and Security

We are looking for a dynamic individual with exceptional customer service and technical skills. Working in a non-routine and complex environment, the Senior Analyst, Digital Infrastructure and Security will be instrumental in key innovation initiatives, providing technical knowledge, demonstrating an understanding of disruptors, and developing and leveraging innovative solutions. The incumbent will also deliver cyber security and infrastructure solutions to support operations, mitigate existing and emerging security risks, and advance best practices to position the Organization as leader in all business segments.

The position will contribute to the development of the cyber security and infrastructure program for the various group of businesses. As part of a dynamic team, the incumbent is accountable for supporting on-premises and cloud-based cyber security and infrastructure technologies. This includes servers and storage provisioning, datacenter virtualization technologies, infrastructure security hardening, vulnerability and patch management, datacenter system integration, capacity planning, infrastructure monitoring, and maintenance.

The role requires technical hands-on experience with enterprise infrastructure solutions, specifically on implementing and supporting diverse hybrid datacenter technologies in support of a growing Organization.

Accountabilities include:

• Lead projects, providing technical expertise in selection and implementation of infrastructure technologies and security controls solutions supporting business needs and initiatives
• Provision, implement, and support the hybrid datacenter infrastructure platforms, including on-premises, and cloud-based technologies
• Accountable for servers and storage provisioning, deployment and implementation including support processes
• Accountable for the servers and storage capacity planning and performance tuning, as well as the development and modifications of the datacenter server architecture, practices, and procedures
• Develop technical solutions architecture, technology evaluation, cyber security risk assessments, vendors management, hardware and software asset management, maintenance, and licensing compliance as required
• Prevent, monitor, and respond to information/data breaches and cyber-attacks, assisting with cyber security incident investigations, and aid in technical risk assessments
• Ensure datacenter servers, storage, and related resources, are operating within pre-defined operating levels, and manage all proactive tuning, and maintenance activities
• Recommend, plan, test and execute changes and modification to infrastructure technologies to improve efficiency, reliability, and performance
• Develop and maintain appropriate levels of documentation for datacenter infrastructure services, systems and related components, cyber security controls, operational processes and procedures, project files, ensuring effective protection and integrity of organizational data and assets
• Ensure effective infrastructure technologies and cyber security standards, internal processing controls, and audit controls are maintained
• Provide advice, consultation, and quotes, by gathering requirements, researching solutions, and evaluate alternatives
• Design and implement measurement systems and KPIs for infrastructure and cyber security performance

Required Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

• Post-secondary degree in relevant field of study from an accredited College or University (Computer Science / Engineering / Systems)
• Minimum 5 years relevant hands-on experience in planning and implementation role on supporting multi-vendor enterprise infrastructure environments
• Minimum 5 years relevant systems administration experience
• Microsoft Windows Certification
• VMware Certification
• ITIL Certification
• Security Certification
• Relevant experience in implementing complex datacenter infrastructure solutions using Microsoft, VMware, and Dell/EMC technologies
• Working knowledge of networking and security concepts as they relate to troubleshooting and diagnosis
• Excellent technical troubleshooting skills on Microsoft Servers operating systems and VMware Datacenter Virtualization platforms
• Strong passion for exploring new ways to create innovation through technology, with a focus on infrastructure hardware/cloud-based technologies and cyber security services
• A passion for working on and explaining technical concepts in an understandable language to customers
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning
• Must be proficient acting in and leading integrated project teams
