Security Personnel for work local in Lloydminster, SK, at a dedicated location.

This work is not dependent on oil price roller coaster or pandemic economic shutdowns. Should those drop, this work gets busier.

Description: Full time - permanent. Shift will be rotating 12 hour day / night shifts. Employer contributed benefits package available. Contractors with their own WCB will be considered. Experience with dealing with mental health challenged individuals and acute health care facility experience is preferred. This is hands-on work and not "observe and report".

Qualifications:

- Saskatchewan Justice Approved Security Guard Training Course

- RCMP Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record check.

- Strong knowledge and application of the Canada Criminal Code powers of arrest and National Use of Force Continuum.

- Demonstrated ability to interact with the public, conflict resolution, and verbal de-escalation. Physical intervention and apprehension will be required.

- SK approved handcuff course will be considered an asset.

- Current AB / SK Security Guard license and / or related law enforcement experience will be considered an asset.

- Effective communication skills (reading / writing / verbal) in the English language. Spelling and grammar skills for report writing are required. Multilingual ability is an asset.

- Demonstrated observation, intervention, and critical thinking skills.

- Reliable disposition and instruction comprehension.

Scheduling and shift summary / incident reports are via phone app - per shift non-taxable data reimbursement is in place.
