Day to day:


As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for strategic development and direction of the National Sales team. Your primary responsibilities will be to lead a sales team while successfully managing the commercial activities within your designated area.

You will report to the Country Sales Manager in the Office Equipment Business Unit.

  • Lead a team of Field Sales
  • Drive sales strategies and tactics consistent with the direction of the Country Sales Manager
  • Monitor and drive sales activities of Field Sales which should include creative practices to capture market share
  • Coach and mentor Business Development Managers
  • Drive new trading partner activities via prospecting and campaigns
  • Increase wallet share of the Office Equipment total addressable market
  • Install appropriate member development programs for the unique needs of field sales

Essentials:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience required
  • Minimum of 7 years working experience in a matrix setting
  • Minimum of 5 years of commercial management experience is preferred
  • Experience in managing long, complicated sales processes and negotiating operating/program agreements
  • Ability to influence management decisions
  • Experience communicating complex information to internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience leading a team of professionals
  • Excellent influencing, persuasion, and collaboration skills on all levels within the organization
  • Track record inspiring and bringing a team to the next level, despite cultural and location barriers
  • Ability to handle and organize multiple projects and deadlines
  • Travel is required
  • Experience working in the Office Equipment market
  • Ability to work from home remotely/independently and in a virtual team environment
