Job Description

Are you looking to influence others and help to grow knowledge and abilities across an entire region? The TDAM Retail Support Specialist (RSS) may be the opportunity you have been looking for. Each RSS will provide support across their targeted region supporting Mutual Fund Representatives (Branch Banking, Retail Investment Specialists and North American Contact Centre), Leadership, and Coaches in the Coaching & Learning Confidence Centre. The role combines access to TD Asset Management with the opportunity to make a real difference in both investing advice conversations and customer outcomes.

Overview Of Responsibilities
  • The TDAM Retail Support Specialist team will provide customized support to our TDCT Mutual Fund Representatives and leaders, and to the CCLC.
  • You may currently be an experienced advisor, coach, leader or a proud member of the One TD community providing services in the investing pillar. As a proven business developer, you can help others to understand key investing concepts, provide training and education, and maintain a goal of consolidating assets. As an influencer in your community, building relationships comes naturally for you.
  • You are a dynamic and dedicated professional who will help your peers and customers build their financial confidence leveraging TD Asset Management solutions. Above all else, your responsibility is to deliver an extraordinary customer experience – by fostering a relationship of advice, trust, and confidence partners you support.
Specific Responsibilities Of The Role Include
  • Delivery of annual Confident Advice Sessions, leading classroom sessions virtually and in person.
  • Providing ongoing content delivery, facilitation, education towards investment market, tools, and investment products to TDCT Mutual Fund Representatives ((Branch Banking, Retail Investment Specialists and North American Contact Centre) and leaders, and to the CCLC .
  • Understand the required policies, business key performance indicators, and adapt to the needs of your audience.
  • In addition, this position is responsible for the completion of special projects that contribute to the further enhancement of the TDAM Retail Sales Support capabilities.
Job Requirements
  • Possess excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with strong presentation skills.
  • The successful candidate does not need active investment licensing, but should have experience in the field, proven investment knowledge, and a desire to acquire future accreditation.
  • While the majority of activities will be virtually delivered, there will at times be needs for travel, in class deliveries and training sessions; capacity for travel may be required.
  • Contribute to the achievement of TD LEI goals by modelling LEI attributes and behaviors while strengthening customer loyalty
  • Communicate in a clear and understandable manner, keeping pace with the audience, speaking clearly, verifying audience understanding and agreement as appropriate
  • Exhibit strong attention to detail along with exceptional time management and organizational skills
  • Be a high energy, results oriented individual with a commitment to providing a legendary level of service.
  • Communicate proactively any potential service, knowledge, or operational gaps.
  • Be highly motivated individual with the ability to inspire peers to greater results
  • Have a keen interest in the knowledge of Canadian investment management industry, and desire to learn more.
  • Possess relationship building and influence skills, and be willing to deliver content to new, developing, senior and leadership levels.
Additional Information

Supporting Quebec/Atlantic region but not required to live in this location. Bilingual in English & French is mandatory.
