We are currently hiring TWO (2) Registered Nurses (RNs)with the following qualifications:

• Experience in long-term care required.

• Must be able to get to location (transportation expenses covered @ 59 cents/km.)

• Current Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario and be a member in good standing no practice restrictions.

• Current CPR and First Aid certification, Vulnerable Sector Check (within 1 year), 2 Step TB (within 3 years)

• Updated Immunization Records that include Measles, Rubella and Varicella, and Tuberculosis. Prophylaxis immunization of Hepatitis B is strongly encouraged. THIS FACILITY REQUIRES BOTH DOSES OF THE COVID VACCINE.

• Preference will be given to qualified candidates with reliable personal transportation.

• Solid knowledge, ability, and background in geriatric care and rehabilitation

• Experience in administration of medication

• Superior interpersonal skills that include verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients, seniors, and families.

• Effective skills in critical thinking and problem solving.

• Proven ability to work independently and as a member of a dynamic team.

• Efficient decision-making and problem-solving abilities

• Experience providing direction to Personal Support Workers and Registered Practical Nurses on the care team.

• Willing and ready to work flexible hours.
