Intrepid Health Solution is a specialty and compounding pharmacy with a focus on intravitreal injection, biologics, veterinary and dermatological medications. Our pharmacy is committed to providing accessible and specialized drug therapies for patients and healthcare providers.

Intrepid Health Solutions is looking to further expand. We are seeking a Registered Pharmacy Technician to become part of our pharmacy team!

Intrepid Health Solutions is located at 75 Montpelier St. Brampton L6Y 6H4

Key Responsibilities:

• Strict adherence to compounding pharmacy standard operating procedures

• Assist compounding pharmacist with various sterile/non sterile compounds for clinics, patients and other pharmacies

• Use mathematical skills and equations to determine the correct quantities of ingredients to be prepared in a compound

• Perform validation, calibration, andl monitoring and checking as required by standard operating procedures

• Prepare compound and perform documentation for the pharmacist to clinically verify

• Ensure completion of all required Quality Assurance entries for production documentation.

• Complete process and final inspections of product

• Facilitate phone calls from patients, pharmacies and other members of our multidisciplinary team

• Efficiently and correctly complete computer order entry and claim adjudication, particularly for compounded medications.

• Troubleshoot adjudication concerns with insurance providers, patient support programs and provincial providers

Skills and Experience:

• Currently licensed Pharmacy Technician with the Ontario College of Pharmacists

• Registration with the Canadian Association of Pharmacy Technicians

• Minimum one year experience in sterile compounding/manufacturing, hospital or community environment

• Knowledge of NAPRA and WHMIS guidelines

• Strong customer relations skills and strong sense of professionalism

• Excellent analytical, communication, critical thinking and interpersonal skills

• Proficient in KROLL dispensing software

• Strong knowledge of compounding technology, SOP and aseptic technique

• Flexible and adaptable to meet the requirements of our evolving business

• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment where high attention to detail and accuracy is essential

• Excellent attendance, punctuality and work record
