We are looking for an experienced Red Seal Fabricator to join our team in Delta, BC.

You will be responsible for fabricating, fitting/joining, and repairing components for machines and equipment.

Job Title: Red Seal Fabricator

location: Delta, BC (Annacis Island)

Shift: Be flexible working day or afternoon shift

Responsibilities

• Layout, advise, and plan sequence of operations based on engineering blueprints

• Set up and operate welding equipment and fabricating machines

• Build, weld, fit, repair and assemble components and equipment

• Monitor accuracy and verify exactness to blueprints and/or specifications

• Fabricate subassemblies and finished products to ensure accuracy and quality

• Actively promote safe working practices, follow good manufacturing practices, and participate in continuous improvement

• Keep a safe and clean work environment by complying with policies, procedures and regulations

• Ensure that tools, equipment work areas are maintained in a clean, complete and safe condition

Qualifications

• Other duties as required

• Journeyman / Red Seal Certification required

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Fabrication environment

• Experience working with structural steel and metal fabrication

• Demonstrated experience in diagnosing and repairing machinery and equipment issues with a practical and hands-on approach

• Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine material and assembly operations
