  • Prepare appraisal reports and consultation reports, on all types of real estate properties.
  • Review and complete the examination of appraisal reports as submitted by taxpayers.
  • Act as an expert witness in court and provide consultative services to the Tax Services Offices.
To accomplish your work, you will have to interact with various internal and external stakeholders within the Agency. You will also have to go occasionally at various assessment sites. AND the successful completion of one of these programs :
  • A successfully completed study program from L’Ordre des Évaluateurs Agréés du Québec (O.É.A.Q.) and also possess the professional designation of certified Appraiser.
OR
  • A successfully completed study program set by the Appraisal Institute of Canada (A.I.C) and possess a designation issued by the Accredited Appraiser Institute (A.A.C.I.)
You must upload the proof you are a member of the O.É.A.Q. or the A.I.C and your diplomas in the education section of your candidate profile and submit all required documents by the closing date and time of this poster. Failure to do so may result in the rejection of your application.ExperienceHave relevant and varied work experience in multi-family, commercial or industrial complex real estate valuation on the real estate market(s) for which you are applying: Greater Montreal, Quebec City Metropolitan Area and/or the Eastern Townships. This experience must have been acquired within the last 10 years, but does not have a minimum duration.AssessmentEssentialsIf you meet the prerequisites, you will be invited to the assessment stage. The essential staffing requirements indicated below will be assessed during the process and may be used to identify candidates for positions. Asset staffing requirements may also be assessed during the staffing process and may be used to identify candidates for positions.The first assessment phase is a virtual interview which will evaluate the following qualifications:
