WHY JOIN THE TEAM?
  • You are passionate about the powersports industry
  • You love repairing recreational vehicles and products of all kinds but would like to spend less time physically working with the machines
  • You want to be part of a team of passion driven people who have a real impact on decisions and on current and future products
  • You want to continue to offer our customers the best experience possible
If this sounds like you, read on to learn more about your next job!

THE POSITION IN BRIEF
  • Your role has three main components: dealer support, service representative support, and prevention.
  • When specific challenges are involved, the product specialist is tasked with creating content aimed at sharing the solutions and strategies that the company has selected as positive customer experience leverages. The product specialist is also responsible for presenting and communicating information on the introduction of new products.
  • To support the dealer experience, the product specialist shares updates on improvement projects, new solutions and best practices with service representatives. The after sales team may on occasion require the product specialist’s assistance to solve complex problems. In these cases, the specialist will need to leverage their thorough understanding of mechanical, electrical and diagnostic concepts to troubleshoot remotely (or, more rarely, on site for certain failures). The work is primarily done using computer tools, and in some cases using in house test models.
  • You will monitor network breakdowns on a daily basis and be in charge of communicating relevant information with everyone involved in network support. You will, therefore, have a major impact on the changes to make to products in development or that will be developed. You will also be responsible for quickly identifying temporary solutions to provide the best customer experience and reduce the downtime of customer units to a minimum.
  • This position is a unique opportunity to be the person who not only repairs products but whose recommendations serve to prevent breakdowns before they occur in all products under your responsibility.
Your Main Functions

On a day to day basis, this means you will:
  • Keep in regular touch with our dealer network to foster a strong relationship with dealers
  • Maintain and hone your technical expertise on the products under your responsibility
  • Track and analyze the information gathered from our global dealer network
  • Communicate technical issues with the products under your responsibility to the engineering teams
  • Work with our dealer network to guide and inform troubleshooting strategies
  • Inform people from local and international after-sales service teams of any technical issues and how to solve them by creating internal/external content and communications
  • Collaborate with front-line teams in order to share business best practices
Your Qualifications And Skills
  • DEP (diploma of vocational studies) in mechanics, automobile mechanics or recreational vehicle mechanics
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience directly troubleshooting complex mechanical problems (in cars, motorcycles, Ski-Doos, Sea-Doos or other recreational vehicles)
  • Proficiency in English is required, both spoken and written; while knowledge of French is an asset, our dealers are located around the world and most interactions take place in English
  • Customer focus: personal commitment to providing the highest quality service
  • Strong communication skills: ability to communicate ideas and information in an engaging way that makes it easier for people to understand and remember key points
  • Problem solving: anticipate and identify problems, find the causes and recommend practical solutions in a timely manner
  • Strong interest in recreational products and motor vehicles
Additional Information
  • Competitive pay (base pay and bonuses) and industry leading benefits (insurance, pension plan, vacation, possibility of remote work, etc.)
  • The position is based out of our Sherbrooke office (hybrid work mode with 3 days per week at the office)
