You will manage FedEx Express’s product portfolio, including the development of new product offerings and boost our business growth, create efficiencies, and optimize the customer experience.

We’re looking for aProduct Marketing Specialistin which you get to:


  • Develop and manage product strategy and plans based on market trends, financial performance, customer usage and satisfaction; define product evolution and generate new approaches to drive innovation.
  • Lead and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to execute on the short and long-term product roadmaps.
  • Deliver market analyses for new product concepts partnering with stakeholders to assess market needs, size markets/segments, identify competitive insights, define value proposition, pricing, channel strategy, collateral support, etc.
  • Develop business cases that ensure strategic objectives are attained by driving customer value / adoption, market share growth, revenues, and product evolution.
  • Stay informed and report on industry trends, competitive intelligence, and customer insights to make informed recommendations and drive product strategies for growth.
  • Identify market needs and new ideas through analytics-based insights from a wide variety of sources and generate innovative product offerings and concepts that solve key customer pain points.
  • Recognize opportunities for product enhancements, product growth, etc. and collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, DA, Communications, Legal, Operations, Customer Experience, Finance, Engineering and IT to ensure alignment and awareness of Marketing activities, product developments and delivery, impacts, opportunities, documentation, training, tracking and adoption.
  • Manage internal stakeholder communications, develop relationships, and become a trusted advisor to influence key outcomes of our business strategy.
  • Work closely with counterparts in Global Product and Platform organizations to understand emerging capabilities and drive both corporate-led and business-unit led initiatives for FedEx Express.

So what do you need to do all of this? How about…
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing major preferred
  • 3-5 years overall experience in a Product Management role.
  • Courier/Transportation/supply chain industry expertise would be an asset
  • Experience with developing business cases and writing business requirements for new product development.
  • MS Excel and SQL Experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross functional teams, multitasking and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to excel in a dynamic environment.
  • Out-of-the-Box thinker with the ability to provide solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills – verbal and written.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
