Meyer Housewares Canada Inc., is currently seeking self-motivated and energetic individuals who are interested in joining our team in the permanent, full-time role of General Plant Labourers

Hourly Rates:$15.00-$18.54, plus an extra $1.50/hour shift premium for Night Shifts

Daily Shifts:12 hours, Mon-Thur

Shift: Day Shift (6:00 AM to 6:00 PM) Night Shift (6:00 PM to 6:00 AM)

Rotation:2 weeks days, followed by 2 weeks nights

All Positions: (After 3 months probation)

You will qualify for certain benefits and allowances, including but not limited to:

· Annual uniform allowances of $400

· $250 for prescription safety glasses every two years

· Enrolment in a comprehensive medical benefits plan

· 11 paid statutory and other holidays

· 3 paid sick days per year

· Overtime/double time pay when required

· Length of service – annual wage premium

· Increasing vacation scale depending on years of service

Pension - All Positions: (After 1 year of service)

You become eligible to enrol in the Company Pension Plan after 1 year of employment.

Qualifications: The successful candidate should have:

· High School / GED level education

· Team player and good work ethics

Experiences considered an asset but not necessary:

· Previous manufacturing experience

· Mechanical abilities

· Basic computer skills
