Payroll Clerk/Administrator


We are currently seeking a PSS Payroll Clerk/Administrator based out of our Billings Office location. As a key member of our team, the Payroll Clerk will use knowledge and experience to support the timely and accurate execution of processes related to the PSS Program and Payroll.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Completes payroll for filed staff in a timely, ensures accuracy and timeliness, respecting tight deadlines
  • Completing weekly and monthly reports, ensuring proper data integrity ( OT Report, Stat holiday)
  • Provide support for projects/improvement activities impacting operations
  • Respond to customer inquiries, maintain good customer relations
  • Work with branch coordinators for client service visit verification to support billing, payroll processes and LHIN Automated Provider Reporting (APR)/Service Plan submission
  • Responsible for processing timekeeping on a weekly basis and preparation and submission of LHIN billing files in accordance with contractual requirements
  • Preparation, verification and import of employee payroll information
  • Preparation, verification and import of independent contractor information
  • Work with front desk and branch coordinators to support phone coverage and other administrative duties
  • Maintains accurate records management
  • Additional administrative duties including but not limited to – filing, printing/creating new client charts, organizing files for storage,
  • Ensure integrity and accuracy while using the Procura system

Documentation/Administration:

  • Dated notes are timely, clear; contain appropriate and required/necessary
  • Documentation and/or phone calls both externally and internally are accurate
  • Responses to scanned items, faxes and emails are timely
  • Required reporting or tracking is completed within expected timeline

General

  • Provide timely and accurate preparation and submission of monthly/weekly financial
  • Assist with accreditation audit
  • Departmental vacation/relief coverage
  • Supporting the Coordination team and Front Reception, as needed

Qualifications:

  • 1 – 2 years of Accounts Receivable experience preferred
  • Post Secondary Education in Administration or equivalent experience
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite
