Marketing & Graphic Design Intern

We see design as visual storytelling that engages, informs, and inspires. We are looking for a highly creative graphics design intern who can take conceptual ideas and create visual representations while gaining exposure to the growing industry of web3 and NFTs. After the term of the internship, candidates with good fit will be offered full time permanent position with equity and option incentives.

In-office or remote depending on candidate location.

Objectives

• Work on a wide range of projects within the company, using various computer software to visualize and develop innovative graphic designs that meet business goals
• Obtain input from team ensuring designs meet organizational standards and brand expectations, express ideas accurately, and represent Fig Finance platform appropriately
• Work independently and cooperatively on multiple projects with team, meeting deadlines and budget constraints, and scheduling project implementation based on workload, which may include two or more simultaneous projects
• Examine existing processes, identifying flaws and creating solutions to improve existing design
• Update and maintain internal databases of designs, photography, and video

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or recent graduates of post-secondary program in business, arts, sciences etc.
• Deep passion and interest for decentralized finance and blockchain industry
• Self-motivated and love to work in a fast paced, collaborative and iterative start-up environment.
• Love to solve big and difficult problems creatively
• Love to see the results of their work and making a difference
• Currently enrolled in or recent graduates of bachelor’s degree in graphic design, art, or similar discipline
• Exceptional creativity and innovative design skills
• Some experience (academic and professional) with design software, including Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, etc.
• Experience with graphic design, with a strong portfolio of work
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Organizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
