Motioneering is a world leader in motion control solutions. We are an ambitious organization that is working to build structures higher than ever before by using performance-based dampening solutions. We have created solutions for some of the most iconic architecture in the world including Taipei 101, Shanghai Tower and 432 Park Avenue in New York City.

Motioneering is currently looking for an innovative and forward-thing Marketing/Business Development Coordinator to join our team in our Guelph office.

This role includes but is not limited to:
Marketing:

  • Social media and website: Collaborate with Marketing and Communications to increase and monitor effectiveness of our “online presence”. Generate new ideas, write social media content, and schedule timely publishing of content to continuously improve Motioneering’s profile.
  • Marketing material: Complete routine updates and make improvements to online and hardcopy client-ready marketing materials.
  • Research, plan, and organize activities related to conferences, meetings, damper tours, client visits, and other demonstrations of our damper and monitoring system technologies.
  • Collaborate with Senior staff in Motioneering on all activities related to marketing and expanding/reinforcing our brand.

Business Development:

  • Identify potential key clients and project partners, and arrange meetings to discuss opportunities to work together.
  • Maintain meaningful information in the Customer Relationship Management tool, leveraging the tool to increase effectiveness of client outreach and lead opportunity tracking and win strategy implementation.
  • Work with the VP Operations and Senior PMs to identify and qualify strong leads then develop strategies to convert Leads into Opportunities.
  • Provide support and timely information to Motioneering’s Sales Reps to help them be effective in promoting Motioneering’s damper products.
  • Track, monitor, and report upon activities of our competitors on an ongoing basis.
  • Assist Motioneering team with development and delivery of RFQs, RFPs, and customized proposal submissions for our range of service offerings
  • Provide project administration support when needed, as part of experiencing and appreciating the full project lifecycle

Ideal Candidate Description:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or a similar discipline
  • * 5+ Years’ relevant work experience*
  • Ability to coordinate Marketing and Business Development activities for Motioneering across all Global Regions and Sectors
  • Ability to collaborate with other Business Development Coordinators in Americas, APAC & ME, and U.K. & Continental Europe across RWDI to leverage market knowledge, client connections, LEADs and Opportunities
  • Understands the design and construction process, including various models of project delivery and the role of a subcontractor in each model
  • Has a broad understanding of the services and products that Motioneering offers to clients
  • Understanding of social media and other marketing tools to effectively reach an audience of potential clients
  • A self-starter, outgoing, creative, motivated person who can think/work independently, and proactively to help “make things happen”
  • Strong communication and people skills, verbally and written
