Marketing Brand Ambassador

Position Overview

Elevate is expanding and we are looking for an enthusiastic Marketing Brand Ambassador to join our event marketing team. In this role, you’ll be working alongside other Marketing Brand Ambassadors as "the face of our company" while promoting our client’s products and services and distributing marketing materials. As a Marketing Brand Ambassador, you’ll be working at various events across the city, engaging with the public face-to-face.

The main objective of a Marketing Brand Ambassador is to strengthen the relationship between our clients and their customer base. You’ll be helping customers understand the features and benefits of our client’s products and services along with their missions and plans for the future! We welcome people with previous marketing, promotions, events, retail, and other related experience along with those just starting out on their marketing journey!

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assisting with the set-up of branded events, stalls & retail kiosks
• Drawing members of the public to the branded event/retail stall
• Engaging in conversation with passers-by about a particular brand/product
• Working as part of an events team to deliver consistent results in terms of brand exposure, feedback collected, and new customers acquired
• Helping our clients to enhance their brand’s reputation and increase their market share in specific geographic areas
• Collecting statistics and market research information and reporting it back to the event manager so they can pass this onto the client
• Other event planning and executing tasks as needed

Compensation:

Our Brand Ambassadors are paid on a weekly basis through a combination of base pay and commissions. More detailed information will be provided during the interview stages because it depends on the campaign, but the average take-home earnings are $600-1000/week across our current campaigns.

Marketing Brand Ambassador Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills, verbally and written
• A basic knowledge of computer applications
• The ability to work under pressure and can problem solve
• Are 18 years or older to qualify for this position
• You’re legal to work in Canada (Work Visas and Authorizations are welcome)

As we diversify our client portfolio, grow our events team, and prepare to expand into additional locations this year, opportunities for Event Planning and Event Management will become available. We would prefer to promote from within, so there may be an opportunity to advance into a more senior role within your first 1-2 years!
