Sun Pointe Village is centrally located in the Okanagan city of Kelowna and the Village at Smith Creek is located in West Kelowna. Both are campuses of care, perfectly designed to meet the changing care needs of seniors in our community. Job Summary

Reporting to the Maintenance Lead, the Maintenance Assistant supports all maintenance initiatives and preventative maintenance at the Residence. The Maintenance Assistant also supports projects and emergency repairs.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Formal education or equivalent training and experience in facility maintenance
• Class 5 Driver’s License and reliable motor vehicle
• Highly developed mechanical skills with proven ability to repair and maintain a wide variety of appliances, equipment, and systems
• Excellent organizational skills
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to problem solve and think critically
• Consent for a Criminal Record Check (CRC) for working with Vulnerable Adults
• COVID Vaccination
