Our client is currently seeking a MACHINE OPERATOR to start immediately $18-$18.50. The company is located in Guelph.

Responsible for set-up, operation, and general maintenance of a machine, used to fabricate laminates, papers and films.

Basic Functions

• RESPONSIBILITY NUMBER ONE: Processing orders
• Operation of fabrication equipment
• Quality control (dimensional reports/checks)
• Inventory control
• The packaging and pulling of orders
• Inspection and maintenance checks of equipment (as directed)
• Prototyping of new products/planning of new products (as directed)
• Assist with training new staff (as directed)
  

Requirements

• Machine Operator experience (preferred)
• Hard-working and punctual
• Willingness to learn and be trained on the job
• Ability to perform basic mathematical functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
• Ability to accurately read tape measure (i.e. metric, centimeters, millimeters)
• Must have basic reading and communication skills
• Ability to lift to 40 pounds
• Ability to adapt and adjust to various work assignments
  

Shift

• Day Shift - 6:30pm-3:00pm Monday - Thursday
• Afternoon Shift - 3:30pm-2:00am Monday - Thursday
  

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $18.00-$18.50 per hour
