We’re on the hunt for a Senior Analyst, Treasury to join our team at our Brampton office.

Reporting to the Corporate Treasurer, the Senior Analyst, Treasury will focus on cash and liquidity, treasury operations, debt capital, financial risk management, insurance and pensions. Some of the key responsibilities include monitoring global cash positions, preparing and updating the extended cash forecasts, debt management, foreign exchange hedging, insurance program oversight and pension governance. The Senior Analyst, Treasury will collaborate with the broader finance team and other corporate and operational departments, as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Corporate cash and liquidity management
• Maintenance of bank accounts, on-line banking platforms, cash pooling arrangements, authorized approval authorities and banking resolutions
• Manage corporate debt programs including maturities, interest payments and compliance
• Provide foreign exchange risk management strategies to project teams
• Execution, confirmation and settlement of foreign exchange and interest rate hedges
• Issuance of letters of credit and parental guarantees
• Short-term investing of excess cash
• Forecasting, budgeting and variance analysis of cash flows and interest expense
• Corporate insurance program oversight including renewals and claims management
• Pension oversight including asset allocation, investment returns and regulatory reporting
• Assist in the development of corporate treasury policies, procedures and internal controls
• Manage ad-hoc projects and analyses to accomplish departmental and company objectives
• Improving productivity and efficiency through technology solutions
  

Qualifications And Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration or Commerce
• CFA or CPA professional or candidate
• Three to five years of treasury or finance experience
• Experience with and understanding of financial institutions and banking platforms
• Strategic thinker able to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent organization and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented with extreme attention to accuracy
• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues and business partners
• Ability to perform well within a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
• Ability to work as a member of a team and independently
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
  

Knowledge and experience of treasury workstations is an asset
