Junior Security Analyst

Are you a skilled communicator who can effectively articulate cyber security risks to technical and non-technical audiences? As a Junior Security Analyst, you would maintain and validate the compliance, integrity and security of all Skyline systems and services while maintaining focus on our shared goal of creating meaningful value and an exceptional experience for our customers, our people and our communities.

What you will be doing:

• Maintain the security infrastructure of Skyline servers and network, as well as connections at regional offices and remote locations from threats, unauthorized access and/or malicious intrusion preserving the integrity of all Skyline systems and ensuring information remains uncompromised.
• Install security measures and operate software to protect systems and information infrastructure.
• Monitor networks for security events and issues; Investigate cybersecurity incidents.
• Participate in the investigation of security alerts generated by Skyline systems. Work with other staff to identify appropriate course of remediation and implement corrective action plans as needed.
• Document and assess potential and actual security incidents, determining the cause and impact of the security incident and inform necessary stakeholders on incidents and incident prevention.
• Conduct security monitoring and analyze events to ensure threats are identified and actioned.
• Assist in Risk assessments with current and future solutions, identify and document information security risks and propose mitigating controls.
• Assist with development, implementation and documentation of security related operational processes and procedures for networks, systems, applications, data security and privacy in accordance with information technology and security best practice frameworks.
