We are looking for an individual to fill our full time Junior Millwork/Woodwork Finisher position who comes with a positive attitude and the desire to move to the next level with your painting and finishing skills. We will teach about applying high end finishes on a variety of surfaces, including Millwork and Woodwork products in our state of the art 45ft. automotive paint booth. You already come with a painting/finishing background. You might have been honing your skills painting automotives but would now like a change. Experience with finishing millwork and other wood products is an asset. We believe learning is key to advancement, and building a strong culture is as important as building great products! At Nikolai, We Build Outside the Box.

Responsibilities:

• Mixing and applying clear lacquer finishes and lacquer based opaque finishes
• Applying spray stains, wiping stains and other colorants
• Mixing custom stains to match control samples
• Executing proper sanding techniques
• Spraying with equipment such as HVLP guns, air assist Kremlin pumps, and gravity fed cup guns

Skills and Responsibilities:

• Experience painting or applying finishes to various surfaces
• Excellent communication skills with a strong grasp of the English language
• Positive team player and leader
• Detail oriented
• Ability to read and understand drawings is an asset
• Ability to perform in a high volume environment

Salary: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
