What you’ll do:

  • Under the direction of the Accountant, the Jr. Accountant/Office Manager supports the preparation and accuracy of financial statements, weekly sales reports, period end margins, and reconciliations.
  • The Jr. Accountant/Office Manager has a working knowledge of point-of-sale systems to provide support to Department Leads in use, troubleshooting and system capabilities.
  • This position provides guidance to Team Leads on operations administration procedures and assists management on implementing and training on administrative tasks.
  • Facilitates cross training in the areas of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Credit and must acquire knowledge to cover administration positions in absences.
  • Reviews proper maintenance and effective management of the Vendor Master File and vendor terms.
  • In collaboration with the Accountant, develops and implements the Administration Department Goals with the Admin Team in alignment with the retail goals.
  • The Jr. Accountant/Office Manager supports the planning, preparation and documentation for the auditing and internal control process.
  • The position is responsible for leading the Administration Team (Accounts Receivable and Payables) including employee relations activities of recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management.

  • 2-3 years of accounting and administration experience with supervisory responsibilities.
  • An Undergraduate Degree or Diploma preferably in Business or Accounting.

  • You must be able to plan and organize your own work and that of others, supervise others, and delegate to others
