Foremost Industries has an immediate opening for an IT Technical Support Analyst,located at our facility in Lloydminster, Alberta. You will be assisting with end user support, account maintenance, desktop and peripheral troubleshooting and support and much more. You will work towards ensuring smooth operations and limited downtime for the entire Foremost user group. The selected individual will possess good computer and networking skills and be a self-starter with excellent communication habits. The ability to work with limited supervision is required.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot the following:

· Windows 10 desktops, Microsoft Office 2013/2016/2019, miscellaneous desktop software

· Manage daily tickets and provide helpdesk type support & coverage

· Perform Windows server support and troubleshooting as needed.

· Connectivity testing to Network Infrastructure including; switches, firewalls, VPN portals & Wi-Fi access points

· Citrix Virtual Applications and desktops

· Virtual Infrastructure (VMware), Storage, and Server infrastructure

· Escalate tickets in a timely manner for additional support/troubleshooting

· Document processes & procedures

· Ensure software license compliance

· Provide both onsite and remote technical support

Qualifications:

· An IT related Degree or Diploma is preferred, however, relevant work experience will be considered

· Experience working with Active Directory, Citrix and ERP applications

· Ability to learn quickly and become proficient with new technology and Software

· working knowledge of Information Technology security best practices

· Well organized, methodical, and proficient in a variety of technologies

· High level of ethics and integrity
