Equivalent Experience

Description:
The Buyer position is to support the Commissioning and Start up activities in Fort Saskatchewan. This person will be working to support the petrochemical project currently in construction. This role will work through commissioning and then transition with the project when it goes into operations.

Must Haves/Main Responsibilities:

• Oil and Gas plant experience
• RFx process for materials and services
• Procurement of goods and services
• Negotiation of Terms and Conditions, with support from Legal
• Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders
• Management of change
• MSA set up
• support equipment procurement
• minimal vendor sourcing

Nice to haves:

• turnover experience
• site exposure
• fabrication experience
• Maximo
