About The Role

Reporting directly to the Vice-President IS, the IS Practice Lead will be responsible for aligning IS processes, Product Owners and platforms to support the delivery of the IS program roadmap. The IS Practice Lead will collaborate with IS resources to ensure that IS technology platforms are deployed and configured to meet the criteria of established IS frameworks and ensuring technology interoperability whenever possible.

Responsibilities
  • Periodically assess IFC Information Security (IS) control maturity and map controls to defined baselines and established frameworks (NIST).
  • Identify IS gaps and engage IS resources to address deficiencies in security platform, product road maps and frameworks.
  • Collaborate with IS vertical leaders, product owners and managers to implement a unified IS program roadmap on behalf of VP Information Security and ensure that IS and IFC policy requirements are identified and defined as key deliverables for platform configuration and implementation.
  • Host workshops and seminars for Product Owners to ensure alignment between platforms and functional teams, roadmaps, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate the bi-directional communication from the product owners and VP IT Security, ensuring that product owner messaging is captured succinctly without filtering.
  • Participate as required to pull together disparate budget streams for annual planning cycles, and ensure the roadmap and cyber plan items are accounted for
  • Engage with internal SMEs and IS vendors to ensure compatibility between technology acquisitions and strategic alignment with IS roadmap.
  • Continuously monitor the IS vendor landscape and product offerings to match stakeholders with solution providers when required and necessary. If required, designate new Product Owners for net new technology acquisitions.
  • Collaborate with Information Technology (IT) stakeholders to ensure that IS gating milestones are met from a process and technology integration perspective.
  • Act in an advisory capacity to for emerging technology teams (data, cloud, etc.) to ensure alignment with IS framework and IFC standards.
  • Act as an IS influencer to support the IFC IS strategy on behalf of the VP, Information Security and CISO.
  • Develop a template and onboarding approach for future IFC acquisitions.
  • Engage in IS assessment activities to support potential IFC acquisitions.
  • Be an active leader in integration activities post-acquisition and ensure cross team responsibilities are allocated appropriately for acquired security related technologies.
