Merlin Plastics is looking for experienced electrician to join our maintenance team. They assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.

Responsibilities and requirements:

• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
• Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
• Test electrical systems and stability of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters and voltmeters to ensure compatibility and safety of system.
• Journeyman ticket is considered an asset
• Works well under stress
• Adhere to Health and Safety standards and have a safety-first work style
• Legally entitled to work in Canada
• Able to work fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude, courteous manner, personality and flexibility
• Consistently reliable and dependable.
