Hays Human Resources recruitment division in Ontario, are partnered with our client to hire a Human Resources Manager, Manufacturing in Guelph Ontario.

Your new Company

The company The company brings over 30 years of experience, operating as a leading manufacturer in the manufacturing of vehicle interiors. Due to continued growth and progression, the company is hiring a Human Resources Manager, to join their Guelph manufacturing facility.

Your new Role

As the Human Resources Manager, reporting into the Plant Supervisor, you will manage all Human Resources functions for the manufacturing facility you will be assigned to. We are seeking someone with well-rounded experience, to lead: Labour Relations, Talent Management, Recruitment, Compensation, Environmental Health and Safety, Government Regulation Compliance and other Human Resources related programs and services. As the Human Resources Manager, you will collaborate with operating management, to define and implement business strategies, and manage various IATF and Lean Manufacturing initiatives. In your role as the Human Resources Manager, you will lead a team of 4 direct reports.

What you’ll need to Succeed

To succeed as the Human Resources Manager, you will bring 8+ years’ experience within Human Resources, focused at a Management level. You will have experience within manufacturing, and will be skilled with labour relations, performance management, organizational planning, workforce analytics and project management ideally. You will have experience supporting hourly employees and Plant management staff, and have experience leading a team of direct reports in Human Resources. You will have very solid knowledge of the Employment Standards Act and maintain strong analytical and organizational skills. You will be an effective communicator and be able to manage multiple priorities. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and IATF are considered an asset.
