Job Description

The Housing Security Personnel will be responsible formaintaining a safe and secure atmosphere in all Lake Louise Ski Resort properties including the resort and staff accommodation.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conducting security patrols of Lake Louise Ski Resort properties
• Enforce “conditions of residence” as outlined in rental contracts
• Liaison with local law enforcement and emergency service agencies
• Respond to complaints and conduct investigations
• Provide assistance and or information to employees and the general public
• Complete the required nightly security incident reports
• All other related duties as required by Housing Management

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

• Valid Class 5 Alberta Driver’s license (or international equivalent); previous Winter driving experience; a driver’s abstract and a claims experience letter from a previous insurer stating 3 years claims-free (obtained before commencing)
• Ability to enforce rules, without being influenced by friends/work colleagues
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with minimal or no supervision
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Self motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm
• First Aid, CPR, Self Defense and Mediation skills preferred
• Prior security/law enforcement experience is considered an asset
