As the Harvest Planner, you’ll be working for one of the largest and best-managed forestry companies in the world as you manage and facilitate the scheduling of planned, permitted and harvest volumes for the Central Region operations, while also ensuring the timely delivery of volumes required to meet manufacturing facility needs. You’ll also be “tree-sponsible” to work closely with operations and mill teams to establish seasonal harvest plans that meet size/species/quality profile targets. Your strong attention to detail and analytic abilities will come into play as you work through improving accuracy with our scheduling and log profile forecasting.

In a perfect world, you have a University Degree or Technical Diploma in Forestry or Natural Resource Management along with knowledge of applicable BC legislation and policies and 10 years of experience across a spectrum of forestry work. You’re also comfortable forming positive relationships with our operations, and other stakeholders. Bonus points if you are a registered Professional Forester and/or a member of the ABCFP.
