Graphic Designer

The Graphic Designer at LUMINOR Environmental Inc. creates both digital and print marketing materials that are unique and in line with the company brand. As a Graphic Designer you will create materials used in LUMINOR’s sales functions and production, including creating literature, price booklets, manuals, advertisements, web content, presentations, and packaging. This independent role provides the opportunity to add your creative touch to various aspects of Graphic Design.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop, design, and create all marketing materials including but not limited to literature, price booklets, labels, manuals, advertisements, web content, and presentations.
• Write copy for marketing materials.
• Work with the sales team to develop promotional materials.
• Design, source, and order tradeshow materials.
• Create general packaging designs and other materials used in production.
• Work with venders to ensure that all print material is accurate and meets LUMINOR’s quality expectations.
• Suggest and design new ideas for marketing LUMINOR products.

Experience and Qualifications

• Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio. Please include a link to your digital portfolio in your application.
• Minimum of 5 years’ work experience in graphic design; preference given to in-house experience.
• Post-secondary education in Graphic Design.
• Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, Premiere Pro), and CorelDRAW.
• Strongly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
• Principles of photography, retouching and color correcting images for print and web.
• Proficient in finalizing projects for print production, with working knowledge of bleed and cut lines.
• Experience editing videos and/or creating motion graphics is an asset.
• Experience with website administration software, Umbraco, Amazon A+ Content, Shopify, and Mail Chimp is an asset.
